This Privacy Policy explains how EFox Enterprises, Inc. DBA Energy Savings Hub ("Energy Savings Hub," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit energysavingshub.com, contact us, or receive calls, emails or text messages from us.
Who we are
Energy Savings Hub is the registered business name (DBA) of EFox Enterprises, Inc., a Florida corporation. We help homeowners learn about solar as a service, check whether their home may qualify and schedule a consultation. Energy Savings Hub connects homeowners with one solar installer, our installation and operations partner. Our team schedules your consultation; the installer's representative conducts it, prepares your proposal and service agreement, and performs the installation. We aren't a solar installer, a utility or a government agency.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, home address and ZIP code, whether you own the home, your answers on our qualification pages (such as your electric utility, average monthly bill, roof shade and roof age), and anything you tell us during calls, messages or your consultation, such as details from a utility bill you choose to share.
- Approximate credit range you tell us: on calls, our team may ask for your own estimate of your credit score, recorded only as a range (650+, 600–649, below 600, or don't know). This is self-reported. Energy Savings Hub doesn't obtain credit reports or run credit checks.
- Text-message consent records (once our planned appointment text program starts): whether you agreed to appointment texts and how. For a call, it's the script version that was read, the name of the team member who obtained your agreement, the date and time you agreed, and the recording of that call. We also keep records of opt-outs (STOP) and help requests (HELP).
- Communication records: records of calls, emails and text messages between you and us. We record calls with our team, including the call where you book a consultation.
- Technical information: our website host automatically receives standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font is downloaded. This website (energysavingshub.com) doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies or tracking pixels. Our qualification pages at www.energysavingshub.com, which are hosted on our customer-relationship platform, use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the results of our ads; Meta may receive information such as your IP address, browser details and the pages you visit there. You can manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings. If we add tracking anywhere else, we'll update this policy first.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and check whether solar as a service may be available for your home.
- To schedule and confirm your consultation, and to reschedule it if needed.
- To send appointment text messages if you agreed to them, once our planned program starts (we don't send texts yet). We don't send marketing texts.
- To keep records of your consent and opt-out choices, and to comply with the law.
- To operate, secure and improve our website and services.
How we share your information
We share your information only as described here:
- Our installation and operations partner. When you ask us to check your home, we provide the details you give us (such as your name, contact details, home address, energy-use information and any approximate credit range you told us) to our installation and operations partner, through our appointment-management system, so its representative can hold your consultation, review your home and prepare your proposal and, if you choose to move forward, so the partner can design, install and service your system. This is part of providing the service you asked for. Our installation partner doesn't send you text messages; appointment texts come only from Energy Savings Hub. Our installation partner compensates Energy Savings Hub for each completed installation of a homeowner we referred.
- Our team and service providers. Our call-center agents and staff can see your appointment details, including in our internal team-messaging channels, so they can schedule and confirm your consultation. Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, our customer-relationship and messaging platform, call recording, team messaging, and phone and text-message carriers, may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business, subject to this policy.
Text messaging and your mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your agreement to receive texts from Energy Savings Hub, and the records of it, aren't sold, shared or transferred, and they don't authorize texts from our installation partner or anyone else. (The request details we share with our installation partner for your consultation are described under "How we share your information".)
Energy Savings Hub doesn't send text messages at this time. The rules below and in our SMS Terms will apply once our planned appointment text program starts.
Text messages are optional. Providing your phone number doesn't by itself mean you agree to receive texts. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. See our SMS Terms.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including keeping consent and opt-out records for as long as needed to honor your choices and meet legal requirements.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
- Texts: reply STOP to any message to stop texts, or contact us.
- Calls and emails: tell us at any time that you don't want further calls or emails, and we'll stop.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us what information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, subject to legal exceptions. Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights; contact us to use them. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children
Our services are for adult homeowners. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
